* SWAAU provides other sports for girls and boys ages 8 to 18.

* SWAAU supports the District Association Qualifier and AAU Division 1, Division II, and Grade Specific National Tournaments.
* SWAAU is the only Regional Association in the United States to have three National AAU Champions in 2004: 11U Texas Thunder, 13U Texas Express (back-to-back-to-back), and 17U Texas Express. In 2005, SWAAU also had a National Champion in the 13U Fort Worth Frogs.
